I FINALLY was able to get my work letter notarized in Kaohsiung. Praise God, a judge notarized it for me! My documents have been attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Taiwan and now have to be sent to the UAE Embassy in Taiwan.
Wait, there isn't one!!
So, I must send it to the closest embassy. I found 7 phone numbers for the embassy in Beijing...NONE of them work!
Call Manila. Won't do it. Call Singapore. Won't do it. Call Hong Kong. Won't do it, but they did give me a working number for Beijing.
Call Beijing. Can't understand the English recordings. Call. Call. Call. Call.
Finally got through this morning only to be told to call back after 3pm or on Friday since the guy incharge wasn't there...
I should just glue my phone to my ear at this point.
On a brighter note, it was bright outside today! :)
